Remember when we redid baby’s room and I painted clouds on her walls (before and after pictures of the room {HERE}, clouds {HERE})? The idea is to one day attach shelves to the clouds so that her toys and books “sit” on top of clouds. A month or two ago I wrote an e-mail to Kadi Mõttus and asked her if she could draw three pictures for the little lady’s room (so I could place them in white frames on a shelf above her bed). I described the room, told her that I wanted cute animals with big blue eyes (just like our ladybug’s) and that I thought it would be fun if they looked like they were falling out of the sky. Here’s the artwork I found in our mailbox last night – I couldn’t be happier with her interpretation of my criteria. Thank you, thank you, thank you, sweet Kadi!
I also got a set of Christmas cards made by Kadi – I had already decided to make my own cards this year but couldn’t resist getting them anyway. They’re so adorable!
All the above photos are borrowed from the artist’s blog. By the way, if you’re struggling with ideas for Christmas presents, I strongly suggest you take a look at what Kadi has for sale {HERE}. What better and more unique gift could you possibly give your loved ones than a beautiful piece of art? Frames are included in the prices 🙂
