I promised to tell you more about Madiken’s birthday and since the little one has caught a cold (again) we’ve barely got any news so now is the time!
Getting to M’s house takes an hour and a half long drive and lucky for us the baby just slept right through it. Both me and H were sure the baby would be a little scaredy-cat and be glued to mommy once we arrived (she’s usually not a big fan of strange men), but when we actually did, she sat in anyone else’s lap but mine and thoroughly enjoyed it. As you can see, she’s just like her mother: loves being the center of attention!
All eyes on the cute baby. I don’t even need to be a pageant mom to show off my daughter and be silly proud of her!
Scattered her toys all over the floor and pulled the dog by his tail. No wonder Madiken’s house felt like home to her!
The Food! My birthday present to Madiken (apart from bringing baby over) was making her birthday food. The pasties and chicken balls (plus a chocolate cake) are my work.
Those two go really well together. Let’s hope M has one of her own someday soon!
“Anyone seen the baking paper?”
“Nope!”
Thank you for having us over and thank you for being baby’s very special auntie Madiken! You cannot imagine how much you mean to us 🙂
