Lots of planning to do: Birthdays

Thought I’d do a quick update on what’s going on with us 🙂 I have a lot of planning to do for the baby’s (I’m gonna need to stop calling her that soon) birthday parties (having two, can’t host everyone well enough at once): putting together the menu (and preparing it), a lot of cleaning and some rearranging of the furniture (around ten toddlers in an apartment needs some careful planning), making decorations and printables (if I have enough time) and making sure everyone I’ve invited has RSVP’d. Luckily, auntie Madiken is coming over on Friday so she can help me with the party preparations on Saturday. I can really use the extra hand!Once this weekend is through and we’ve successfully celebrated the kid’s birthday, it’s time for my own the weekend after. I’m having a ladies night with my favorite gals (excluding the littlest one, who’s going to have a lot of fun at grandma’s house with daddy while mommy enjoys an irresponsible quantity of wine with the best of friends), so I need to arrange another menu, put together a playlist (I asked the girls for their favorite songs so we don’t end up fighting over youtube privileges), hope to god the dress and shoes (we’re having a cocktail party so we can play dress-up) I ordered arrive in time, get my nails done and book a make-up artist (which I’ve already done, I felt like pampering myself a little for the occasion), make goodiebags for the guests (I seriously hope I have enough time to do that) and figure out if I want to go dancing later or not…  Existential dilemmas, as you can see!
