I woke up at 8:30 a.m. this morning to H whispering that he had gone to the store, got a tree stand and put up our Christmas tree. I got out of bed unusually fast and ran to the living room and immediately started decorating. H had also remembered to get a can of snow spray so I had all I needed. I’ll show you all my Christmas decor in a post later, I need H’s phone to take pictures!
Old picture of the little ladies, we really need to become better at taking lots of pictures!
Then I had just enough time to clean up the apartment so we could host today’s guests: the beautiful Mia and Simona with their gorgeous mommies. It’s great to see the babies interact more and more as they’re growing up and now they actually play together and discuss very important baby matters. It was a great day as it always is when we have other kids and mommies (especially cool ones like our friends) over and the day just flies by really fast. When they had left, I gathered the toys the babies scattered all over the place cleaned off the kids’ meal (I made oven-baked cauliflower, carrots and potatoes with garlic, sage, thyme and a tiny bit of beef stock) they had smeared across the living room table. It’s amazing how the precious mess that babies make is nowhere near irritating, they’re so cute when they’re at it. 😀 Make sense?
So what else is there to say but thank you-thank you-thank you to today’s guests. I feel really well-rested and at ease. 🙂
