I’m working on a new layout for the blog and have some posts lined up as well (all our photos are spread across three different computers, one of which wasn’t working for quite a while and the other one H brings to work, that’s what’s taking so long), but until I finally get around to posting them, here’s a great uplifting song for you. If I wasn’t already this thrilled to be alive, that song would probably take me there anyway!
So, things I’m grateful for at the moment:
I spent a lovely day with Ethel (who’s now huge and has a darling little boy kicking and punching inside her belly – guess who’s gonna be an almost-aunt in October?) who I barely get to see these days, but love to death. We spent the evening together with auntie T and her family and cooking dinner for a bunch of people you love feels really fulfilling. Our little ladies played really well together and we had tons and tons of fun, too.
I started singing again! I joined a choir called Gaudete and I’m really glad I did. They seem like a great group of people and I’ve had tons of fun so far.
We’ve solved a lot of storage issues by getting two new pieces of furniture – one wardrobe for the little one and one for the hallway. Everything is really neat and easy to keep clean now that everything has a place of its own and that really is a huge relief.
The little lady started taking singing lessons for toddlers at Musamari. We sing, dance, play instruments and play with toys to music and during those 40 minutes, I see how much she appreciates learning and showing off what she does best. Proud moments for a mom!
I have three lovely ladies coming over tonight and I just know I’m going to really have a lot of fun.
All of that on top of a wonderfully busy summer well spent is just… I don’t know, I think I’ve done something good after all. I’ve been blessed!
Niii vahva oli ja njom njom kui head söögid, teie juures nagu kodus 🙂 ja väike Elli oli nii armas ja kana oli ka tore joonistada 😀
It seems like you did have a great summer; one that would make me happy. Yes, Blessed! Now, is your chior going to post to youtube? 🙂 Is there a mother / daughter duet down the road?
