We had a really fun afternoon at J’s house (she has a daughter only a month younger than ours), the little ladies played together (more like poked each others’ eyes out and tore toys out of each others’ hands, but they did enjoy themselves) and we just had a really lovely chat (more like mindless banter and gossip, we too did in fact enjoy ourselves). Time really does fly in their company and when daddy came to pick us up, I felt it was way too soon.
We had theater tickets for tonight, so baby stayed home with her grandmother and her folks got to enjoy being grown-ups for a change. We went to see Stephen King’s “Misery” and it was really-really good. Disturbing, creepy and awfully scary for someone as jumpy as me. A true classic turned into a great production with incredibly talented actors. Would surely recommend it, but tonight was the last time it was on.
All in all: GREAT day!
