We had a wonderful and busy summer so I still have a ton of great unpublished pictures taken on our adventures. I’m just going to throw them all together in a snapshots-post two snapshots-posts (there’s so many of them, that’s also why I decided not to edit them in Photoshop – it would just take me ages and I’d probably never get around to posting this) so I can share them all with you. What sort of blogger would I be if I wasted great post-material anyway? I hope you like these kinds of posts, because I’m going to keep posting them. It’s a great way to save those little moments for later and look back and remember how great it is to be alive and living the life we live. 🙂 Enjoy!
We arranged a sleepover for the ladybug and little Mia… well, truth be told, it was for us, too. That way we could enjoy that lovely summer night out on the terrace until early hours of the morning in the company of good friends. 🙂
You scream, I scream… We went to Skansen and had three ice cream cones on our way there. Rum raisin… noms!
This one’s on me. What can I say? I’m an omnomnomnomnivore…
When the little lady finally brought herself to pat the sheep, the sheep let out an incredibly loud “BAAAAAA!” (she knows all the sounds the animals make but we never make them as loudly at home as the sheep in question did), the little one startled and fell on her little butt. What can I say, it was just one of those moments…
Can’t tell if really satisfied or annoyed as hell…
Mama bear and her three adorable little cubs were having lunch when we went to see them. I want a bear cub of my own 🙁
She really looked incredibly majestic that close up…
One of the greatest perks with going to Sweden is getting to eat and drink stuff we don’t have here. Proper Asian food, delicious and authentic kebabs, Bregott, Twister (my favorite ice cream since the minute I moved to Sweden – they sell different kinds of Twister here but not the actual thing), Polarbröd… the list could go on forever. Here: a new sort of cider I got to try. The taste was a pleasant combination of citrus and ginger, but what got me was the can. Why don’t they put everything in well-designed packaging?
I think this is what they mean by food porn… Delicious chicken with lemon, garlic and herbs. Recipe here {LINK}.
This is when the ladybug discovered she had a thing for tea. She drank all of mine and now asks for peppermint tea at least seven times a day. I also happen to love that stuff so it’s absolutely no bother, but a funny quirk nonetheless.
Aren’t playgrounds fun?
Kiddo agrees! One of the reasons why I’m a little sorry summer is through is because the little lady has all these pretty dresses she’ll grow out of by the time it’s spring. The one in the picture is from Polarn o. Pyret, they have the prettiest patterns and the most ladylike yet playful little dresses.
We had a champagne soirée and one of our last barbecues of the season with H’s mom and some friends of hers. Mmm, champagne…
I baked a lemon meringue. Why I baked a lemon meringue? Because it’s one of the world’s most breathtakingly delicious pies (it’s also H’s mom’s favorite), that’s why.
One of H’s mom’s friends brought along her infamous blueberry roll. It’s to die for. I wish I could have her blueberry roll for breakfast, lunch and dinner tomorrow – that’s how delicious it is…
It looks like great fun. Great pics! I want a Blueberry Roll!
I should ask for her recipe and publish it. Let’s hope there’s no secret ingredient…
Looks like much fun 🙂
