The little bug usually wakes up once a night, sometimes twice and sometimes she sleeps all through the night. Last night was one of those REALLY good nights and when she first started waking up it was already light outside. Since H has an alarm clock on his night stand, I wake him up to ask him what time it is so I know whether to just feed the baby or pick her up and let her know it’s morning. “Half past”, he replied this time. “Half past what?”, I asked. “Half past nine!” So I pick the princess up, feed her, change her diaper, sing her some songs, fish some boogers out of her nose (she absolutely hates it, nothing soothing about that) and feed her some more. All the while thinking how great everything is going and how we’re definitely going to make it all the way to Tartu (which is a two hour drive away) with a happy baby. I glance at the clock just to make sure we’re on schedule… WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT’S HALF PAST SEVEN?!?!?!?!!?!
Needless to say we’re nowhere near schedule. Clearly, I need to keep track of my own freaking time.
Luckily, it’s hard to be pissed when Miss Ubercuteness is in sight:
Have an awesome day, everyone!
